50 Cent & Mark Wahlberg Respond To Boston Marathon Bombings "It's Disgusting" [Video]

The world is still in shock after the bombings at the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 15th. There were 3 deaths, including 8-year old Martin Richard, and at least 174 people were injured when two bombs exploded near the finish line of the race.

Actor Mark Walhberg was born and raised in Boston. He had a difficult time speaking about what happened last night at the New York premiere of his new film, "Pain and Gain."

"I really didn't even want to come tonight. I hadn't really heard much. I spoke to my mom, and most of my family seems to be OK. It's such a big event, there's so many people there. It's horrible man. It's f*cking disgusting, man. I just - I'm very upset," Wahlberg told the Associated Press. "You try to put everything in God's hands and whatever happens here is out of our control and there's a bigger picture. But it's still obviously upsetting,"

G-Unit mogul 50 Cent shared similar thoughts on the tragedy.

"I don't even know, what is the response to violence? It's usually more violence," 50 said. "When you see kids involved in it, I can't write it off."

Coolio Beats Up His Baby's Mom & Hits Her Leg With His Car After Bringing Another Woman To Their Home. Cops Arrest Him

Coolio made the mistake of bringing another woman to the home he shares with the mother of his baby. To make matters worse he assaulted his baby's mom up after doing so.

According to TMZ, Coolio allegedly pushed his girlfriend Anabella Chatman to the ground and punched her in the face on April 1st. The 49-year old rapper then reportedly took off with their child and the other woman. In the process he hit Anabella with his car, leaving tire marks on her leg.

When cops caught up to Coolio, real name Artis Ivey Jr., he told them that he was the victim because his girlfriend scratched him in a jealous rage.

Needless to say the police didn't buy the rapper's story and arrested him.

Charlamagne Tha God On Miley Cyrus: "Miley Cyrus Wanna Be A N*gga So Bad. She Swears She's Ratchet P*ssy" [Video]

Miley Cyrus has been hanging out with hip hop producer and rappers quite a bit as of late. She even did a song with Snoop Lion and released a twerking video. Outspoken Power 105.1 radio personality Charlamagne Tha God can't figure out what's up with the former Disney star.

"Miley Cyrus wanna be a n*gga so bad," Charlamagne told Vlad TV. "Miley Cyrus swear she ratchet p*ssy. I don't even understand that sh*t. I need to figure out what drug she's on. I know it's probably so many of Billy Ray Cyrus' friends texting him, making jokes like 'is Miley Cyrus breaking your achy breaky heart yet?' I don't see why she wanna be ratchet p*ssy so bad."

"When you're Miley Cyrus or you're Justin Bieber do you understand the great space that you're in? You're in mainstream America," Charlamagne continues. "You go to the clubs you don't have to worry about getting shot. You go to the clubs you don't have to worry about motherf*ckers asking you fo drops, trying to jump you. Why you wanna be on this n*gga side so bad?"

DJ Kay Slay Explains His Fallout With Nas. Says He Was Disgusted When Esco Signed With Jay-Z & Told Papoose Not To Do Deal With Nas [Video]

Legendary DJ Kay Slay a.k.a. The Drama King recently spoke with Vlad TV about Nas. He explained that the two fell out because Nas refused to shoot the music video for a song he recorded for Kay Slay.

Slay said he was disgusted when Nas signed to Def Jam while Jay-Z was president after he destroyed him with "Ether." In Slay's opinion, too much personal stuff had been said during their beef to get past it. He felt like Nas won the battle, but lost the war when he did business with Hov.

Kay Slay also revealed that he advised Papoose not to sign with Nas.

Model Toccara Jones & Trina Get At A$AP Rocky Over Comments He Made About Dark Skinned Women Wearing Red Lipstick. Azealia Banks Says He's Gay "He Wears Dresses & Gives Makeup Tips. Just Come Out!"

A$AP Rocky is catching all kinds of heat from African American women offended by comments he made recently.

"But for real, for me, I feel like with the red lipstick thing it all depends on the pair of complexion," A$AP said, according to The Huffington Post. "I’m just being for real. You have to be fair skinned to get away with that. Just like if you were to wear like—f*cking for instance, what do dark skin girls have that you know fair skinned girls cant do… Purple lipstick? Naw, that looks stupid on all girls! Purple lipstick, guys! Like, what the f*ck."

Pretty Flacko's comments didn't sit too well with former "America's Next Top Model" contestant Toccara Jones.

"His comments show he has self-hate," Jones told TMZ. "Doesn't he love himself? How do you make a comment like that when you’re brown yourself?"

Trina a.k.a. The Baddest B*tch agreed with Jones, saying she's seen women of all shades "look beautiful in red lip wear."

Their comments come on the heels of similar ones from Azealia Banks. The Harlem rapper and Rocky were friends at one point, but that has gone out the window as Banks continues to attack the A$AP Mob leader via Twitter.

"Lol @ asap rockys lipstick advice," Banks wrote on the social networking site. "Some people should just come out of the closet. So rocky takes a direct blow to my image about dark skin and purple lipstick, then as soon as I’m a offended …. I’m the bad guy. That comment was so hurtful. Like hurtful beyond measure. Coming from him especially. It made me cry. It did."

Banks wasn't done there. she accused Rocky of having a homosexual affair.

"Lol Rocky used to get his d*ck sucked by this dude named Kenneth in Harlem," claimed Banks.

Rick Ross On Reebok Dismissal

rick ross

After being dropped from Reebok, Rick Ross retreated to his Twitter thank his former partners and released an official apology . Better late than never?
“Before I am an artist, I am a father, a son, and a brother to some of the most cherished women in the world. So for me to suggest in any way that harm and violation be brought to a woman is one of my biggest mistakes and regrets. As an artist, one of the most liberating things is being able to paint pictures with my words. But with that comes a great responsibility. And most recently, my choice of words was not only offensive, it does not reflect my true heart. And for this, I apologize. To every woman that has felt the sting of abuse, I apologize. I recognize that as an artist I have a voice and with that, the power of influence. To the young men who listen to my music, please know that using a substance to rob a woman of her right to make a choice is not only a crime, it’s wrong and I do not encourage it. To my fans, I also apologize if I have disappointed you. I can only hope that this sparks a healthy dialogue and that I can contribute to it.”

New Music: Proof x J Dilla “Keep It On The Low”

To commemorate the 7th anniversary of Proof’s passing, Paul Rosenberg released an unheard track produced by the late J. Dilla. Says Paul:

Very hard to believe, but it has been 7 long years since we lost Big Proof. Again, to celebrate the his life and share his art with the world, I’ve unearthed another lost track from P and J. Dilla called “Keep It on the Low”. The track was produced by Dilla and that’s also him on the chorus. Forgive the sound quality but as I’ve said before these are ripped from cassette dubs and it’s the best that I have. I’m pretty sure the track is from 1994, when Proof and J were working on their Funky Cowboys side-project. What can I say? The world just isn’t as enjoyable nor the same without you guys. Rest in peace.

LL Cool J Speaks On 'Accidental Racist' Controversy On Jay Leno. "I Would Never Compare The History Of The Confederate Flag With A Du-Rag"

Legendary rapper/actor LL Cool J and country singer Brad Paisley stirred up controversy recently with their song "Accidental Racist." While they both seemed to have good intentions in making the track, the final product probably wasn't what either of them had hoped for.

LL visited The Tonight Show with Jay Leno yesterday to explain what he meant by his lyrics in the song.

"I can't defend the song, but I can clarify my intentions," LL said. "There's a lyric in the song where I say 'if you don't judge my du-rag I won't judge your red flag.' I in no way would ever compare the history of the confederate flag [with a du-rag]. Which when you think about the rapes, tortures, the murders, the lynchings. All of the things associated with the confederate flag with a du-rag. However, when you think about a kid like Trayvon Martin, and you think about some oft he things that happen in society based on clothing. When you put it in it's proper context it makes sense. I would never, ever suggest to anyone that we should just forget slavery and act like that didn't happen."

UltraViolet Thanks Reebok For Dumping Rick Ross "This Is A Huge Victory For Women"

In the wake of Reebok's decision to sever ties with Rick Ross on Thursday over date rape lyrics in the song U.O.E.N.O., the group primarily responsible for forcing the company's hand has issued a statement via their website.

We are thrilled to hear that Reebok is joining the fight against rape culture and dropping Rick Ross. This is a huge victory for women, for the 526 survivors of rape who were brave enough to publicly confront rape culture, and for the nearly 100,000 UltraViolet members who have poured their hearts and time into this campaign. This sends a strong message that rapping about drugging and raping an unconscious woman is not only morally wrong, but has real consequences. After Steubenville, Americans expect and demand better. Thank you Reebok for taking a stand," said UltraViolet co-founder Nita Chaudhary.

The group's petition and protest in front of Reebok's flagship store in New York City last week were major factors in the company's final decision.

Reebok Drops Rick Ross Over Rape Lyrics

After relentless pressure from rape survivors and women's rights groups, Reebok has dropped Rick Ross over his date rape lyrics.

As previously reported, the anti-sexism group UltraViolet started a petition and protested in front of Reebok's flagship store in New York City. A group of 150 rape survivors also called on the company to sever ties with the MMG boss.

Put molly all in her champagne / She ain’t even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that / She ain’t even know it," Ross raps in the song U.O.E.N.O.”

Today Reebok finally made the decision to distance themselves from Ross

"Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand.  Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so. While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse," a company spokesperson told TMZ.

Trick Daddy Says He Ran Weezy Out Of Miami Strip Club "Sent Lil Wayne Packing Like A Little B*tch" [Pics]

Lil Wayne doesn't seem to be welcome in Miami after comments he made about the Miami Heat during All-Star weekend in Houston back in February.

At the time Wayne said he smashed Miami Heat player Chris Bosh's wife. He then in some more jabs at the team.

"F*ck LeBron. F*ck She Wade. F*ck Chris Bosh. F**k all y'all," Wayne ranted.

Veteran Miami rapper Trick Daddy was not happy with the comments and found himself inside of King of Diamonds at the same time as the YMCMB CEO recently.

According to TMZ, Wayne started to get a bad vibe from Trick Daddy and decided to leave the club with Young Money President Mack Maine. As Wayne was exiting someone from Trick's crew allegedly threw a lit cigarette into Wayne's dreads.

Before any drama could pop off, KOD security separated the parties and Wayne left.

A member of Trick Daddy's crew told the Miami New Times that Da Mayor "sent Lil Wayne packing like a little b*tch."

However, King of Diamonds' Disco Rick denied that was the case.

"Lil Wayne is KOD. Trick never made him leave," Rick said.

A spokesperson for the club told TMZ, "It's sad they had to revisit a situation that was Internet beef ... while surrounded by naked girls."

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney Denies President Obama Gave Jay-Z & Beyonce Clearance For Cuba Trip After Hov Releases The Song 'Open Letter' [Video]

Just as things were starting to quiet down, Jigga released a song this morning that raised some eyebrows.

“I turned Havana into Atlanta... Boy from the hood/ I got White House clearance... Obama said, 'Chill you gonna get me impeached/ You don’t need this sh*t anyway, chill with me on the beach', Jay raps in "Open Letter."

During a press conference today, Politico reporter Donovan Slack asked White House Press Secretary Jay Carney whether President Obama gave Jay-Z and Beyonce special clearance, based on the song's lyrics.

"I guess nothing rhymes with Treasury. Because Treasury offers and gives licenses for travel, as you know, and the White House has nothing to do with it," Carney said. "I am absolutely saying that the White house from the President on down had nothing to do with anybody's travel to Cuba that is something that Treasury handles. It's a song, Donovan. The President did not communicate with Jay-Z over this trip."

Katt Williams: Would Anyone Care If Charlamagne Tha God Died? [Video]

Charlamagne Tha God sat down with Vlad TV recently and spoke about Katt Williams.

"Katt Williams gonna die," Charlamagne said. "If Katt Williams does not change his ways. If Katt Williams does not start moving in a different route. Katt Williams is gonna end up in jail or dead because it's only but so many times somebody that's 4'11 and 90 pounds gonna keep trying people."

Katt heard about Charlamagne's comments and responded.
"You could say that about most of the black men I know and somehow be correct. Saying that somebody is gonna end up dead or something else is almost not even worth saying. I don't know anybody who didn't end up dead," said Katt. "The real question is, if he were to die would anyone care?"

Rick Ross Loses Out On Between 100K-250K Payday After Ottawa Concert Cancelled Over Rape Lyrics

The fallout from Rick Ross' date rape lyrics in the song “U.O.E.N.O.” continues. As protesters and rape survivors put pressure on Reebok to drop the rapper, he's also lost money after a recently scheduled show in Ottawa was cancelled because of the song.

Ross was scheduled to perform at the Ernst & Young Centre on Tuesday, however the show's promoter, Urban Jamz Ent., pulled the plug on the concert Friday over "security concerns" according to O.Canada.com.

Student associations at Carleton and the University of Ottawa have collaborated on an end-of-year concert dubbed Pandamonium since 2007. This year they decided not to promote "rape culture" and pulled their support due to Ross' scheduled appearance.

"He wasn’t an artist the SFUO could support," said Ethan Plato, the federation’s president.

Put molly all in her champagne / She ain’t even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that / She ain’t even know it," Ross raps in the song at the center of the controversy..

The rapper was rumored to have been paid between $100,000 and $250,000 for the show.

Kendrick Lamar & Miguel Cover Vibe's 'Big List' Issue

After releasing two of the best R&B and Hip Hop albums of 2012 respectively, Miguel and Kendrick Lamar wouldn't seem cocky if they assumed they have their fields covered.

The two L.A. artists land on the cover of Vibe's 2013 "Big List" Issue.

Check out an excerpt of their cover story written by John Kennedy and their photo shoot with Steven Geomillion and Dennis Leupold below.

VIBE: First off, congrats on being dubbed musical geniuses of the current generation. Had you two met before the shoot?

MIGUEL: I never met Kendrick before this.

KENDRICK LAMAR: Even though we're both from L.A., we never met.

Wow, really?

MIGUEL: [Laughs] He's just joking around. We got to work before and chopped it up for a quick second. As much as I love the fact that we get to be on the cover, it's cool when it's people that you really f*** with and you're a fan of.

KENDRICK: Definitely, and it makes it easier when we do get back into the studio together. Because in the last couple of years I've [learned] you can't really jump in a studio with everybody 'cause the energy is not there. To vibe with someone on a personal level makes the music sound so much better.

What was your first impression of each other’s music?

KENDRICK: First time I heard Miguel, it was a video actually. What was the first video on BET?

MIGUEL: If it was the one with J. Cole, then that's "All I Want Is You."

KENDRICK: It was the joint before that, early in the game. Whatever it was, it was dope. Something new, something fresh. When I found out that he's from the town, that made him even more official 'cause we don't get too many vocalists getting light and love on the actual talent.

MIGUEL: I gotta say that Section.80 tape was it. What I liked most is the perspective. There's a song where Kendrick is like—I'm gonna f*ck up the lyrics—How do you talk about money, religion and street life all at the same time. I know I f*cked it up, Kendrick. My bad, bro.

KENDRICK: Nah, you good. Exactly. That's it.

MIGUEL: I just like that it's an honest perspective. Sometimes you listen to MCs and you're like, This s*** sounds cool, the verse and the cadence or whatever, but when you look at the artist, it just doesn't translate. I don't get that from Kendrick. Younger artists, we're all striving to be ourselves. He's one of the best examples of that.

KENDRICK: Likewise. As far as Miguel, one thing I said these past couple of years, from an R&B perspective, I always felt like it's been missing the depth of actually telling a story. Everything on the radio has been cliché. But when you get a body of work like Miguel's, you hear actual intricate details and lines where it's not just saying, Come here girl, blah blah blah.

MIGUEL: [Laughs]

KENDRICK: You're hearing the steps to get there. And that's the part of R&B that's been missing for a long time. To actually hear somebody new doing it and taking pride in such intricate details that make the song that much better, it makes you wanna ride to it all day. I come from that world of oldies and gangster rap. My pops probably played more R&B and vocalists in the house than gangster rap, so I always listened for lyrics and the s*** that make the women feel good. Once they like it, you know the dudes gon' follow it right after, so you gotta be up on your s***.

You’re both carrying the torch as the leaders of the new generation. How do you define musical genius?

KENDRICK: Somebody that don't really have any boundaries, that's not confined to the traditional structure of a song or traditional sounds. When you listen to "Adorn," it feels like he's not even trying to structure a radio joint. He just felt the music, felt the instrumentation and wrote the track.

MIGUEL: Good looks, bro. My favorite artists always took whatever they loved out of music and made it their own. It was their take on it. Kendrick is one of those people where I can hear Ice Cube's first two albums' influence. I get the street edge, but then I hear like the poetic player, smoothness, creativity and smart street savvy of Andre onAquemini. That juxtaposition is what I hear in Kendrick, but it's his own take. If you listen to my s***, you're gonna hear Prince, Marvin Gaye, Led Zeppelin or a little bit of the Beatles. That's where I'm pulling from.

Some of the most genius artists have thrived when taking chances and innovating. How important is that? Does that set up for the inevitable dud?

KENDRICK: That's the chance you gotta take. Who knew when Jay-Z sampled Annie that it would blow up? That could've been a disaster; you wouldn't even be speaking about Jay-Z right now. But that was a chance he was willing to take. 808s & Heartbreak could've ruined Kanye, but he did it so smooth and different, it just felt right. And that's one of his greatest albums. He wasn't really rapping on it, but that was a chance he took to be ahead of the game. Those are genius minds. And that's good for the culture of hip-hop, to know that we have people in the game before us that are willing to explore. It gives me a little more confidence in what I'm doing when I think back on all the emcees that have done that.

What’s the biggest risk you’ve taken artistically? One that went over surprisingly well and one that might’ve gone over people’s heads?

MIGUEL: Sh*t, well this whole album—overall it doesn't sound like any other R&B album that's been put out in the past decade. The only album I would say sounds as alternative would be A Beautiful World by Robin Thicke, and that was like 2003. Since then, I haven't heard a commercial album sound as alternative as this one. Including those psychedelic influences for R&B was a huge risk. I honestly was nervous to put it out. I remember having a conversation with Mark, my A&R, like, "Man, I don't know if they're gonna get this sh*t. It may be bad." And he was like, "I love the album." And I love it, too; I'll be proud of it when I'm 80, because I know what I was going through when I was writing, producing and creating it. It's really cool to get attention from outlets that never really paid attention to me or my music before this album. On the opposite end, risks that I didn't even know I was taking—I look back on photos [from All I Want Is You] and the way I was dressed is not something I'd do again. If anything, when you do take risks, you become either more confident because you're going to be criticized and speculated, and those conversations are gonna cross you and you're either sure of yourself and what you believe in or you're torn down.

KENDRICK: I definitely agree. Making good kid, m.A.A.d city was a risk in itself. The idea of a concept record has been lost for a long time—will that translate to 16-year-old kids in high school rather than the super energetic joint on the radio? I definitely had that in the back of my mind when I was creating this album. But having that thought process gave me confidence in knowing that ain't nothin' new under the sun. By me doing this, it can be fresh and something new to the kids that are not used to a record that has skits intertwined within the songs and a whole album breakdown. Overall, what I talk about in my music is another huge risk. When you think of the West Coast, you immediately think of crazy-type street credibility. To come from that place but not glorify it is a challenge in itself.
