Star & Lord Jamar Agree With Trinidad James' Comments About New York. Jamar Criticizes French Montana "He Might As Well Be From Atlanta" [Video]
Vlad TV managed to pull Star and Lord Jamar into the studio at the same time. Both are known for giving their honest opinions whether you like it or not, so this made for a very entertaining interview.
With the alcohol flowing, both men agreed with Trinidad James' comments about Atlanta running New York musically
"I'm not mad at that hoe a$ n*gga with long fingernails and f*cked up teeth," Star said.
Jamar believes a lot of New York artists have started to copy the South's style.
"You gotta listen to a lot of the New York artists right now, especially this dude French Montana," Jamar said. "I don't know French Montana, and to a degree I'mma say I f*ck with French Montana. I know that the style he's giving off as far as just visually is some New York, Bronx sh*t... I get it. But the music he's making, he might as well be from f*cking Atlanta. Let's keep it f*cking real."
Asher Roth Responds To Eminem's Diss: "I Thought It Was Pretty Amazing." Clarifies His 'As I Em' Lyrics [Video]
"Quit actin' salty, I was countin' on you to count me out/ Ask Asher Roth when he round-a-bout dissed me to shout me out/ Thought I was history/ But goddamn honkey, that compliment's like backhanding a donkey/ Good way to get your a$ socked in the mouth." Eminem "A$hole"
Eminem threw a shot at Asher Roth on the song "A$hole" off of The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Slim was firing back for what he perceived as a diss on Asher's song "As I Em."
Asher told Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds that his lyrics weren't meant to be disrespectful. His intentions were to clear up the comparisons between himself and Slim.
"For me I just wanted to talk about how I was my own person. That's really all it was,"Asher said. "[I was] talking about when I was first introduced to Em's music when I was young in the 7th grade. Kind of talking about that relationship, being inspired by an emcee and listening to that music and having it be influential. That was it. I think Em was just being Em."
Don't expect any reply songs from Asher because he wasn't offended by the track.
"It's cool man. I thought it was pretty amazing, I'm not gonna lie. I didn't take any personal [offense]," Roth explained. "There's nothing really there. I've never met Em. I don't know him personally."
Chris Brown Wanted To Bring Weed Into Anger Management Rehab Facility
Chris Brown was unable to bring weed into his anger management rehab facility and he wasn't happy about it.
TMZ reports that the singer told medical staff that marijuana had been prescribed by a doctor to treat his depression. He said smoking herb keeps him calm, but personnel at the facility rejected his request.
Chris was ordered by a judge to spend 90-days in an L.A. County facility at a probation progress hearing last week. He had previously checked himself into an anger management facility voluntarily after he was charged with punching a Washington, D.C. man in the face. Preparing For War? Police Find Stockpile Of Guns While Searching George Zimmerman's Home [Pic]
George Zimmerman either really loves guns or he's been preparing for something ominous. As previously reported, the former neighborhood watchman who was acquitted in the murder trial of 17-year old Trayvon Martin, was arrested last week after allegedly pointing a shotgun in the face of his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe.
The 30-year old was charged with battery, criminal mischief and felony aggravated assault with a weapon in the case. He was released the day after his arrest after posting $9000bail.
TMZ reports that a subsequent search of the home Zimmerman shared with Scheibe turned up a stockpile of weapons belonging to him (see pic above).
Police found an AR-15 assault rifle, 3 handguns, a pocket knife and a Kel-Tec shotgun, the same one he's accused of pointing at Scheibe. No word on if all of the guns were obtained legally.
Scheibe kicked him out of her home after last week's incident and at this point it's not known where Zimmerman is living.

I get the fact that you wanna be like Suge Knight and say something about a city while you're in that city. But you was aggressive. If he would have said those same comments and been like, 'Yo, this is y'all fault,' we would have been able to look in the mirror and been like, 'damn.' But the fact he was like, 'So what, if y'all wanna do something.' You're not giving us advice. You don't give advice by saying, 'If you don't do this I'mma smack the sh*t out you.'"

Video: LOGAN P. MCCOY, "BLACK MORNING"
Brooklyn rapper Logan P. McCoy presents the Dylan Verrechia-directed music video for "Black Morning", the new single from his EP Strength Of Character. "Black Morning" captures the frustration I felt as a young man in desperate need for personal change but without a clue as to how to bring about this change in my life," says Logan. "We all go through growing pains and we all have our unique ways of dealing. In my alcohol and weed fueled meditation, I reached the conclusion that death might be the necessary catalyst for the change that I was so desperately seeking." Logan describes theStrength Of Character EP as "an experiment that became the foundation of a new sound. Initially my idea was to poke fun at '90s style rock/pop music that MTV had made popular. Being first and foremost an underground MC, I thought it would be funny being that I didn't play any instruments and knew nothing about making rock music. Having no band or instruments to craft the sound I had in mind, I decided to follow the Hip Hop tradition that I came from of flipping what I had to accomplish my goals." Strength Of Character is available now on Logan's Bandcamp page.
Video: ORRIN CAMPBELL, "WARP"
18-year-old New York rapper Orrin Campbell presents the Colin Campbell-directed music video for "Warp", the Motel XXX-produced single from Orrin's forthcoming album Nocturnal. Orrin named his first release The Sean Mulligan Mixtape, after his girlfriend's little brother who inspired him to take rap seriously after hearing him freestyle for fun. His early material was, in his words, “Like boom bap rap. Like Brooklyn rap.” Moving to the suburbs changed all that. “I feel like me being in the suburbs, and being bored, helped me to experiment,” he explains, “and that’s kinda how I found this sound I have now.” Of the "Warp" video he says it was shot "in a penthouse overlooking New York City on 12th Ave looking uptown. I wanted to capture the essence of where I currently reside versus where I made the song and Nocturnal. The video is a trip into how I see things. The female which I describe in the song is a virgin whom never smokes or drinks, I wanted to make a very paradoxical video that was very drug-induced, representing myself but also contradicting the values and ideas of said female. She wears a sheep/lamb mask to symbolize purity. The female haunts this creepy place we would call my mind (location of the shoot) and that is what the video symbolizes. At the end we snippet the song "Blue Dreams" as a teaser for the fans." Nocturnal drops December 7.

"From phone calls back and forth with Mr. Walt to email exchanges with !llmind, to face-to-face beat-picking sessions with Khrysis, I made sure the foundation was strong, before bringing more color to the canvas with my rhymes."
