Brief Description
750 Pistol Entertainment Group is a Mafikeng based recorded music and events organization company, which is a 50–50 joint venture between 750 Entertainment Group and Pistol Records. This joint venture was formed to serve the primary purpose of developing young and fresh talent in and around the North West Province. Currently, this joint effort is run under the leadership of Rebaone Sebego (CEO of 750 Entertainment Group) and Thapelo Motsumi (CEO of Pistol Records)
The 750 Pistol Entertainment Group boasts a general team of young and very inspired developing music executives, artists and producers. With genres ranging from Neo-Soul to commercial Hip Hop to Poetry, this company has developed a culturally diversified sound, forming it's own musical culture that stems from an unprecedented formula of intertwining tried and tested elements of already existing musical styles with new, fresh and experimental styles of music creation.
This is achieved through the high quality different production styles encompassed in the 750 Pistol musical team. One such example of this extraordinary musical style is the works of young super producer Thapelo Motsumi whose works are critically acclaimed by both developing and developed musicians such as Refilwe "Cassper" Phoolo, Katlego "KT" Mtunzi (of Sotho Mafia Entertainment Group), Thabiso Tsotetsi (of Impact Sounds) and Tumelo "Tuks Senganga" Kepadisa to name but a few that he has produced music for. This super producer has appeared on the much loved musically inclined Hype Magazine and even on the Toronto, Canada based Freedom Time Magazine and has been interviewed on the online magazine www.zkhipani.com, Motsweding FM with Lesego Les Lekgetho, Top Stereo(Pretoria) with Dj Malwela and on the Botswana based national radio station Yarona FM. This Producer has held several media positions, such as CEO, Digital Music Producer, Event Coordinator and Office Administrator at Pistol Records (2005-2010), Digital Music Producer at Impact Sounds (2009) and Sales manager and brand builder at Freedom Time Magazine (2010). The 750 Pistol Entertainment Group undertakes it as a moral obligation to formulate a marketing and advertising strategy for every piece of work that it undertakes and so this is seen by every piece of media acclaim that it's associates and staff get. The 750 Pistol team have also worked extensively with Sony ATV digital producer and Rich Bwois Records Co-Owner Thabiso Manama, producing several musical ensembles for the 750 Pistol rap duo, Immortal Lyricistz League
The 750 Pistol Entertainment Group has gone on to create a brand for itself in Mafikeng by closely associating themselves with acts that represent what the company stands for such as a joint collaboration event between De Garage Cafe and Husky Records showcasing the best of the upcoming, new school Hip Hop acts in Mafikeng called The Hip Hop Swagga Session in July of 2010. This served as a special introduction to the media world and a proclamation of things to come, great things to come.
