Diddy says he was quite emotional following Jay Electronica's Roc Nation announcement last month.
“I definitely felt a way about it because that’s my friend. I was without a doubt just looking at the situation selfishly,” Diddy explained. “I wanted to rock with my friend. But at the same time, I support my friend on what’s best for his career and Jay-Z is also one of my best friends in the game. I was a little bit of a sore loser and at the same time just being a little bit sensitive and emotional. But we talked about it. I understood where he was coming from. That’s the beauty of our friendship.”
Following Jay Electronica’s Roc Nation announcement in November Diddy immediately fired off a few subliminal messages on Twitter explaining that he felt betrayed, but later cleared up the situation.
During his interview Diddy also spoke on former Bad Boy artist G-Dep’s recent murder confession.
“G-Dep is probably one of the nicest artists that I ever worked with,” said Diddy. “But you could always feel that something may be troubling his soul. He’s the type of guy that wouldn’t hurt a fly. I don’t know what happened in that instance, but my prayers go out to him.”
