Gamu Nhengu is now signed to 50 Cents Record label G-note!

Gamu Nhengu or Miss Gamuchirai as she will now be known, has been signed to 50 Cents new record label G-note! G-Note will focus on 50's favourite acts that don't fit neatly into G-units hip-hop categorisation and will favour pop and R&B artists.

If you don’t already know the story: Gamu was knocked out of the X Factor at the judges houses stage despite a flawless performance, in favour of two ladies that didn’t even finish their auditions! This was of course to the majority of the nations disgust. And Gamu has already made thousands if not millions of fans, including the approximate 260,000 people that joined the Facebook fan page ‘Gamu should have got through’. Even Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger predicted at the bootcamp stage that Gamu would win the whole show!

Sources tells us that 50 has been interested in signing the talented lass, since he first heard of her dilemma with not being put through to the X Factor live finals back in October (2010). However this was impossible as all the hopefuls that enter the competition have to sign a contract that restricts them from doing deals with other record labels until the X Factor live shows are out of the way. It is believed that many labels have been interested in signing Gamu, but G-note have offered the best deal and are best connected to make her dreams a reality.
