Fiasco explains why one supergroup may have hurt the progress of another and speaks on why the CRS project has been held up more than once.
During a visit to Hartford 93.7's The Morning Crew, Lupe Fiasco spoke on what Watch the Throne has meant to CRS.
"I think the Jay-Z/Kanye collabo [Watch the Throne] kinda was like, 'Aww man, aww no,' " he noted. "Whenever we get to go in [the studio] and have the time and the opportunity to do it, we're always working on some other project. Pharrell gon' do a soundtrack for a movie, Kanye does another project."
In the meantime, Fiasco has his own work to worry about. He's currently prepping Lasers, an album slated to drop in early March as March 8 has been touted as its release date.
