50 Cent's G-Unit Open UK Offices
50 Cent has decided to set up UK offices for his label G-Unit Records.
With three certified Platinum albums under the label's belt, 50 Cent has single handed-ly developed a roster with a view to G-Unit Records becoming a powerhouse within the industry and a stable for established artists such as Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo as well as recent signings Hot Rod and Governor.
Nikki Martin, Vice President, G-Unit Records & Entertainment explains: "Last year we took the decision to restructure the label and begin to carve out its own world-wide distribution, marketing and promotions strategy. After signing with EMI for North America we looked at who could help develop the brand in other key territories and we decided to partner with PIAS who shared our vision and passion for the music."
Dan Greenpeace has been tasked to head up the UK/European G-Unit office. Lloyd Banks 'The Hunger for More 2' is the first record to be released, and will be officially available on the 21st March. Lloyd Banks new single 'I Don't Deserve You' ft. Jeremih is out 6th April
