Conflicting Reports In Nipsey Hussle / Manager Shooting Case

Los Angeles law officials are investigating a shooting that occurred last Friday that allegedly involved rapper Nipsey Hussle and his former manager Eugene “Big U” Henley.

The incident took place in the southern part of Los Angeles on Crenshaw and Slauson, according to reports.

Hussel and Henley were once close business associates that put out a number of street albums, but no retail CD was ever released via their dealings.

According to witnesses, the pair were involved in a physical altercation that ended with Hussel's brother firing a round in the air. The police then shot at the brother, Samiel Asghedom, but did not strike him.

Nobody was shot in the fracas, but several people were taken into custody. Nipsey Hussel, Henley and Asghedom were all taken in.

Other sources offered a different account of the melee.

These sources admit to an occurrence, but not between Hussel or Henley. These sources, which choose anonymity, dispel rumors that a gunfight happened between the men.

Henley has maintained positive ties in the community.

He is the executive director of Developing Options, a non-profit they aids endangered communities in Los Angeles.
