Flavor Flav's Former Business Partner Calls Him A Fraud Over Failed Chicken Restaurant
The man who went into business with Flavor Flav to open his Flav's Fried Chicken Shack is calling him out today as a fraud and a liar after the rapper shut down their joint business.
As previously reported, Flav told TMZ, he pulled the license from his chicken restaurant in Iowa due to mismanagement by his business partner Nick Cimino.
He tells TMZ,"I had a licensing agreement with Nick Cimino and that's all we had. It was his business to run from there and the business was not run right."
Now Cimino is firing back and claiming that the Public Enemy rapper is fraud and attempting to become rich off his ideas.
He tells The Baltimore Sun,
He tells The Baltimore Sun,
"I started this. I put together everything from the menu to the color of the building to the sign. I did everything. What Flav's doing, he's a fraud. He doesn't want to be hurt with the other ventures he's doing and he wants to become a millionaire off my dime, off my ideas."
Flav says however he was forced to shut down the restaurant after news broke that employees weren't being properly paid.
"I gave [Cimino] permission to take my name and my licence to operate a business," Flavor Flav told The Sun."I have to do whatever is possible for me to save my name and that's to shut the business down because Nick Cimino isn't running the business righ…"The reason I pulled the license was because there's a lot of employees that weren't getting paid," Flavor Flav said.
Cimino has since denied Flav's mismanagement reports and says he's “just glad to be free of somebody like Flavor Flav."
