District Attorney Drops All Charges Against 6 Men Accused Of Shooting At Waka Flocka's Tour Bus

Prosecutors in Charlotte, North Carolina have decided to drop all charges against six men accused of shooting at Waka Flocka's tour bus.

According to the Charlotte Observer, the February incident started when several men tried to rob Waka, who is known to wear flashy jewelry. That's when gunfire erupted as the men started dumping at the tour bus. Waka's security team fired back, one man was shot during the shootout.

The District Attorney in the case, Andrew Murray said there just wasn't enough evidence to prosecute because no witnesses came forward to identify the shooters.

"We didn't have enough evidence to prosecute any of them," Murray said. "The defendants are still in custody. That's why we need to dismiss the charges now. I'm not thrilled about having to dismiss these charges. Some of these guys have felony records."

This isn't the first time Waka has been involved in a shooting incident. In January 2010 the rapper was shot in the arm at a car wash in Atlanta.
