The Queen Bee and Miss E. will reportedly team back up for the R&B singer's new joint.
Lil’ Kim recently exchanged heated words with Keyshia Cole on Twitter, long after they teamed up with Missy Elliott for the 2007 single “Let It Go.” Now, the Queen Bee and Missy are rumored to be swapping out Keysh for Monica, teaming up with the R&B songstress on the lead single off her upcoming album New Life.
According to fan site MonicaSoul.com, Monica revealed that the lead single will be “surfacing in July and feature female emcees Missy Elliott and Lil’ Kim.” The announcement was supposedly made last night during a performance at the LBLGP event in Long Beach, California.
With Keyshia Cole, Missy and Lil’ Kim scored a platinum hit with “Let It Go,” which topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and peaked at No. 7 on the Hot 100.
