Sway Calloway Sits Down Exclusively with Eminem and Royce Da 5’ 9” as Bad Meets Evil

MTV News announced that the Bad Meets Evil team of Eminem and Royce Da 5’ 9” will be featured in this week’s episode of RapFix Live, premiering on Wednesday, May 18th at 4pm ET exclusively on MTV.com. The longtime friends are back together making music for the first time in over a decade and MTV News’ Sway Calloway was there to exclusively capture the reunion on the set of their new music video “Fast Lane” in Detroit. “Fast Lane” is the first single from the duo’s second collaborative EP, “Hell: The Sequel,” on Shady/Interscope Records that will be released on June 14th. The bulk of the “Hell: The Sequel” production was helmed by longtime collaborator and D12 member, Mr. Porter (a/k/a Kon Artis) and also features contributions from Mobb Deep’s Havoc, DJ Khalil and Bangladesh among others.

Fans can tune in to see the two speak about music, their personal relationships, the state of the hometown "the D" and more.

"Eminem’s energy on the set of ‘Fast Lane’ was electrifying," said interviewer Sway. "Watching and listening to Royce the 5'9" and Eminem lyrically joust seamlessly back and forth reminded me of what REAL RAP sounds like.”

Sway added, “Em is lucid and healthy and it's reflecting in his music. He told me that it's other talented artists around him that have challenged and inspired him to record and perform more. ‘Hell: The Sequel’ is going to spark a new wave of lyrical gladiators."

"RapFix Live has maintained the position as the ultimate destination for the elite conversation going on in Hip-Hop" saysRahman Dukes, MTV News' Hip-Hop Director and show producer. "We are beyond excited to take our show to the next level with one of the greatest MCs of our time and this monumental project he's putting together with Royce."
