VIBE Responds To Amber Rose

The editor in chief of VIBE magazine is responding to Amber Rose after the model publicly lashed out at them for an interview she says was “untrue” and “ridiculous.”

As previously reported, Rose exploded on Twitter after reading the interview she felt showed her in a negative light.

“Just read my ‘interview' in Vibe magazine, half the story was untrue and ridiculous!” she said.

“Y'all don't give a f*ck that I have a mom and family that's gonna read that fake a** sh*t. I gave y'all a truthful interview and y'all f*cked me!”

Since then VIBE EIC Jermaine Hall has released a statement saying,

“Dear VIBE reader,

As we're sure you've heard, Amber Rose has expressed some displeasure with VIBE's June/July cover story. VIBE stands by the accuracy and reporting of the narrative. We invite you to form your own opinion, however. The Sexy Issue hits 'stands nationwide June 7.

Rose has yet to respond.

Until the official issue is released, speculation is mounting over what could have made Rose so angry.

According to AnimalNewYork.com, it was not the previously released excerpts that got the model in a tizzy, but a quote printed in the final issue from an anonymous source.

The passage in question reads,

“The high-profile relationship took a turn in Hawaii during Kanye's recording sessions for his cathartic fifth album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. West Booked an entire Honolulu studio indefinitely for 24-hour slots while a cast of artists joined him for long days of business. Rose allegedly didn't take to the all-work, no-play atmosphere. “In Hawaii [Amber] was being obnoxious in the studi like, ‘What the f*ck? I wanna f*cking eat,'” says an anonymous source. “Kanye got so mad because here he is trying to record and she keeps talking about, ‘Let's go back to the house, I wanna f*ck. We haven't f*cked in two days.' I left the room for 10 minutes and when I came back he [told her], ‘Yo get the f*ck up out of here!' She left the room crying.”
