Waka Flocka Flame ran into some trouble this weekend while in New York.
MTV is reporting that the rapper was arrested for Criminal Possession of Marijuana on July 24 while at Coliseum Mall, in his birthplace of Queens, New York.
The 1017 Brick Squad member tweeted about the incident just hours ago.
“I’m finna jump on my flight 2 Kc ....... sorry 2 da whole m town 4 not coming I had spend a nite n jail with no charge #onlybecauseirap," he wrote. "Can’t no 1 stop with GOD got planned 4me no that.”

The hip hop cops are notoriously bad in NYC. Prodigy of Mobb Deep just got back home in March after a 3-year prison sentence for gun charges. He mentioned recently that the HHP follow certain individuals around throughout the city looking for a reason to arrest them. Lil Wayne has said he's never coming back to the city after getting jailed there for a gun charge.
Despite the temporary setback, Waka is keeping it moving. He has a show in Kansas City, MO . And he and Gucci Mane are set to drop their album 'Ferrari Boyz
