He used to be known for being one half of the Atlanta rap group that had people 'shaking like a salt shaker' but now he's known for foolishly swerving on the road drunk and high with his own kids in the car.
33 year old Deongelo ''D-Roc'' Holmes was arrested back on June 1 when police became suspicious he was impaired due to his erratic driving.
“He crossed the center line several times," Gwinnett County police Cpl. Jake Smith told Channel 2 reporter Kerry Kavanaugh. “He smelled alcohol. He smelled marijuana when the driver rolled down the window."
During a sobriety test conducted by the arresting officer, the officer describes Holmes' walk as "slow and unsteady", his eyes "bloodshot and glazed" and his speech"slurred and slow."
In the arrest report the officer noted that Holmes was both, "friendly and cooperative".
Officers found a 3-year-old and a two-month-old baby in his backseat. Smith said they also found marijuana and Xanex.
"When they're putting their children in danger also, it's completely unacceptable,"Smith said.
Holmes, 33, faces seven charges, including two counts of child endangerment. According to police records, he was previously charged with DUI on two separate occasions in 2004.
