Justin Timberlake Defends Miley Cyrus' VMA Performance. "It's Not Like She Did It At The Grammys. Let Her Do Her Thing" [Audio]

 

Justin Timberlake is coming to Miley Cyrus' defense after her MTV Video Music Awards performance that caused some backlash among some fans and critics.

JT gave an interview today to radio station Fresh 102.7 and said everyone should just lighten up.

“Listen, man, you know, it’s the VMAs. What did you guys expect?,” Justin said. “I like Miley. I like her a lot. I think, you know, she’s young. She’s letting everyone know that she’s growing up. I just think it’s the VMAs. It’s not like she did it at the GRAMMYs. Let her do her thing. You know?”

He then reminded listeners of past controversial VMA performances.

“Madonna: Wedding suit, humping the stage. Britney: Strip tease,” Justin continued.“This is not an uncommon thing. I actually thought all the bears were really cool!”
