Kanye West Jokes With Britney Spears On Twitter About Their Competing Singles "Yo Britney I'mma Let U Be #1, But Me & Jay-Z Single Is 1 Of The Best Songs Of All Time

Well damn, some people just don't have a sense of humor.

Kanye West and Jay-Z's new single "H.A.M"  from their upcoming album 'Watch The Throne' shot to number 2 on iTunes just days after it's release. It sits just behind Britney Spears latest song "Hold It Against Me."

Kanye joked around with Spears by tweeting her the "i'mma let you finish" line made famous when he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 VMA's.

Apparently some Britney Spears fans didn't get the joke.

Her manager Adam Leber sarcastically tweeted back, "Thanks for "letting" us be #1. Much appreciated..."

West eventually took down the tweet, but not before wondering why people don't seem to have a sense of humor when it involves him.

"On a serious note I'm truly happy for @AvrilLavigne and @BritneySpears... No hate in 2011. I thought LOL signified a joke... I didn't get the 2011 LOL doesn't signify a joke anymore memo... LOL or something else I guess," Yeezy tweeted.
