A number of people thought the list of actors turned rappers was growing after a star from the Harry Potter series announced his new rap career.
Actor Tom Felton who plays Potter's archnemesis Draco Malfoy, recently revealed to Britain's The Sun that he signed with an independent label but now says however that it was all a joke.
Felton jokingly told The Sun that British rapper N-Dubz was an inspiration.
"I was thinking of doing some N-Dubz-style stuff. I am looking to get into the grime rap UK scene. I'm going to change my image - backward caps, the lot."
Now he says it was all a joke and dry humor that apparently went over editor's heads at the publication. Clearing up the confusion he tells The Hollywood Reporter,
"I can only think that it was an attempt at dry wit that went completely over their head. I don't know. Needless to say, I'm not planning on taking the UK grime scene by storm."
When asked what he'd call himself if indeed he did start rapping he responded,
"I have no idea. That's a good question, I'll think about it."
