As Kanye West and Jay-Z, together known as The Throne, prepare to release their album 'Watch The Throne,' reports have surfaced that the two rappers are beefing behind the scenes.
The New York Post is reporting that the rift between the two centers around their highly anticipated upcoming tour.
Sources tell the Post that Kanye wants "next-level production," which would cost more than$400,000 per show. Jay-Z on the other hand wants to keep costs to a minimum because he has a long term advance to pay back to to Live Nation, who is backing the tour.
"Jay-Z can't deal with Kanye," an inside source told the Post. "Jay is a stone-cold businessman. He wants to recoup all of his money from Live Nation. But Kanye wants to upstage rock stars with a blowout show. He doesn't care about costs. He has a lot less to gain from the shows."
The two are trying to work out their issues, but their relationship might have suffered a long term blow.
"Jay-Z is fed up with West's antics," another source said. "He doesn't even want to be around him."
Despite the apparent beef the two are expected to perform together at their 'Watch The Throne' album listening party at the Rose Planetarium in Central Park.

This wouldn't be the first time Jay-Z has beefed with a tour mate. In 2004 he and R. Kelly feuded while on their Best Of Both World's tour. The tour was eventually cancelled after a bizarre performance at Madison Sqare Garden, where Kelly thought two people in the audience were waving guns at him.
