Snoop Dogg is taking on a new film role now that the Dogg Father's set to play Filmore Slim in an upcoming biopic.
Snoop who's previously starred in a number of films will play Slim in the new movie The Legend of Fillmore Slim as announced today by Ames Universal and SRI Entertainment.
Slim, real name Clarence Sims, is a blues singer who also served as a pimp during the 60s and 70s known as “The West Coast Godfather of the Game” and “The Pope of Pimping.”
The film will be directed by Hawthorne James.
