The G.O.O.D. Music rapper explains how he goes about picking cameos.
With a mixtape and sophomore album on the way, Big Sean has been doling out guest verses and enlisting other artists for cameos on his own cuts to keep his buzz up. Speaking with Muve Music, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper explained how he goes about choosing artists with whom he wants to work.
"Man, it’s just people I really believe in and just has good music. Either that or they pay a whole lot of money," he joked. "I’m just playing. It’s really just who I believe in, stuff that I can really see working, stuff that I just really like."
He also touched on his source of inspiration, referring to a recent trip to Paris, France. The Detroit, Michigan native explained that he looks back on where he came from and uses it as the impetus to want to achieve more.
"Inspiration, for me, is the progression. I just got back from Paris and it was one of the most life-changing experiences ever. Just putting your heart into something and seeing it pay off, it’s addictive. I haven’t seen my family this proud in years, my mom and everybody."
