Gucci Mane Pleads Not Guilty To Assaulting Soldier With Champagne Bottle In Atlanta



Gucci Mane pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault charges in Atlanta according to TMZ.



The 1017 Brick Squad CEO stands accused of hitting a soldier over the head with a champagne bottle at Harlem Nights in March.



James Lettley claims he approached a security guard near where Gucci, real name Radric Davis, was sitting and asked if he could get get a picture. Instead, Lettley claims Gucci attacked him. His head wound required 10 stitches to close.





Gucci was arrested on March 27th, and later indicted. He spent several weeks in jail before posting $75,000 bail.


The assault charges were a violation of Guwop's probation. After being freed on April 12th, he was rearrested the next day.



The rapper was eventually released again on May 2nd.



Since being freed Gucci has released several new songs and music videos. He will drop his Traphouse 3 album on May 21st.
