Mary J. Blige Hit With $3.4 Million Federal Tax Lien
Mary J. Blige has more financial woes. The federal government has hit her with a $3.4 million tax lien according to TMZ.
The IRS claims the singer failed to pay all her income taxes for the years 2009 ($574,907.30), 2010 ($2,203,743.53) and 2011 ($647,604.60), totaling $3,426,255.43.
The singer is also being sued for $2.2 million for defaulting on a loan from Signature Bank and owes $901,769.65 in back taxes to the state of New Jersey.
