Watch J. Cole Reveal the Creative Process of His Sophomore Album 'Born Sinner'

Before his sophomore Born Sinner soon to hit, J. Cole met up with FuseTV to speak on his creative writing process for the second album.

He went old school and chose to start out with just a pen and paper. He credits a book entitled The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron for his influence in that decision. The book got a hold of him a year into the making of Born Sinner.

Cameron's book suggests to write three pages free hand of the first thing you think of right when you get up in the morning. That technique made J. Cole realize that he likes the "writing stuff down" method way better.

Additionally, he made comparisons to this project and Cole World while explaining how good and evil are repetitious themes throughout his career.
