As the music world tries to come to grips with the senseless killing of rising Alabama rapper Doe B, more information is coming to light.

There were a total of eight people wounded in this morning's shooting at the Centennial Hill Bar & Grill in Montgomery, Alabama. 21-year old Kimberle Johnson, who was celebrating her birthday was shot in the head and died on the scene.

Doe B, real name Glenn Thomas, was transported to Baptist Medical Center South where he was later pronounced dead, according to The Montgomery Adviser.

AllHipHop reports that a lone gunman entered the club and opened fire, aiming every shot at Doe B. All of the other patrons hit by bullets were innocent bystanders.

The 22-year old rapper was signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. He wore his signature eye patch after being shot 3 years ago.

Despite previous reports to the contrary, Doe B, was at the club as a visitor and not performing.

The Centennial Hill Bar & Grill was previously named the Rose Supper Club. It had a history of violence. Following a December 2012 shooting, the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board's Hearing Commission revoked the Supper Club's liquor license in January 2013.

According to The Montgomery Adviser's report. DJ Frank White, the rapper's manager, believes he was set up. White has sent out a series of tweets today blaming the club for allowing another shooting to take place on it's premises. White also wrote that he warned his client to stay away from his hometown because it wasn't safe.

"I will do everything i can to see the rose never open," White wrote. "How many people gotta be f*ckin killed. ??? Yall let guns in the club?? Security yall let guns in the club??? Again???! You need to be arrested. This blood is on your hands #therose #centineielhill??? A big piece of me has died..."

White added that Doe B had recorded at least three albums worth of material and he would be releasing it.
