After having a great year 2013, Pharrell is gearing to take over 2014 with a newly announced solo album.
The hit-maker was on two of the biggest song of the year, "Get Lucky" and "Blurred Lines"and today, Columbia Records announced it has signed Pharrell to a record deal that will bring a solo album in 2014.
Complex explains:
According to the label, "Happy"—the song from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack that recently had an innovative 24 hour video—will be featured on that forthcoming record, which does not yet have a release date more specific than "next year."
