The Dreamchasers mixtape series and feature verses have kept Meek Mill's name bubbling since he released his debut, Dreams and Nightmares, in 2012. But that time has passed, and the MMG rapper is readying his sophomore album.
In case you thought he was joking, Meek tweeted, "My next album is all that matters #specialdelivery #2014," earlier today. For now, there's no tentative release date, but the Philadelphia native has been going Instagram crazy with studio flicks and previews of unreleased songs. From the sounds of it, he's been crafting more street anthems, club records, and the like.
We do hope that there's space for more reflective tracks like "Lil N***a Snupe" or older cuts like "First of All" from his early Flamers mixtapes. Check in with Hip-Hop Wired periodically for more information regarding Meek Mill's sophomore LP.
